One of the showers had mold in it, impacting the overall cleanliness. Limited parking availability made it tricky to find a safe spot. ended up having to park outside in a bus lot. The Wi-Fi connection was unreliable, with issues getting the TV to connect, forcing a reliance on a mobile hotspot.

The view of the harbour was outstanding! Staff were professional and handled every request with genuine warmth.

Check-in service was slow and uninviting. Room cleanliness standards could definitely be improved.

I thought this hotel would be a lovely escape, but oh boy, was I wrong. The door didn’t lock, and surprise! Cockroaches as my new roommates. I expected a complimentary room upgrade for my troubles, but got nothing. Had it not been for these issues, I might have considered a good review, but alas, here we are.

My recent stay was filled with remarkable moments! The spacious Double Room with Sofa Bed offered stunning views of the ocean, and I especially loved the peaceful ambiance by the outdoor saltwater pool. The sun loungers were perfectly positioned for relaxing after a day of exploring, enhancing the overall experience.

Having requested a sea-facing room, I was disappointed upon arrival to find that nothing had been noted, leading to a slightly curt initial interaction with the receptionist. Despite this, the room was tastefully decorated with ample space, and I appreciated the complimentary tea, coffee, and fresh local fish at the dining area. noise from the road was quite disruptive during my stay, and one of the receptionists could have been more welcoming. All in all, a decent experience that just missed the mark.

Paxton offers a pleasant ambiance and excellent staff. The rooms are impeccably clean, featuring tea and coffee facilities alongside a comfortable bath and shower. Breakfast provides a generous buffet with both hot and cold options. The location is convenient, with excellent transport access to nearby restaurants, making it a solid choice for both business and leisure.

the check-in was a bit off, as the receptionist sent us to the wrong floor. but the view of the bay from the pool deck was amazing. truly enjoyed the well-prepared meals and spacious room.

paxton has a fantastic location, perfect for relaxing by the pool area. the staff, especially kirsty, made us feel right at home with her friendly assistance. the breakfast atmosphere by the poolside was super relaxing, adding to our stay. it truly felt like a holiday destination.
